Find the family favorite pasta dishes at Carrabas

What type of a meal brings your family around the table?  Does the meal reflect the spirited personalities of the various generations?  Does the patriarch or matriarch of the family persuade everyone to his/her personal favorites? What if you could have assistance finding a great menu item that fits your or your family's personality? Carrabas has you covered.

Right now on the Carrabas Facebook page, you or a family member can take the Carrabba’s Personality Quiz on Facebook   . This quiz will help determine your pasta personality. The quiz asks you questions about your lifestyle. For example, what type of day do you enjoy, how do you act at a party, and even a color preference.

I took this quiz and I totally agreed with the determination. See, I'm more of a traditionalist. I like to make sure that everyone is having fun, but doesn't get too out of control. You probably won't see having purple hair and dancing on the table.

The Carrabba's Personality Quiz said that my past personality is Carrabba’s Spaghetti and Meatballs.  Apparently, I'm warm and comforting, just like a plate of spaghetti and meatballs.

What's funny about findings of this personality quiz, is that we don't eat a lot of Spaghetti and Meatballs. When I serve pasta, I try to add extra veggies (a great way to hide them from the kids, and maybe my husband). A go to pasta dish for us is penne with grilled chicken and veggies. It seems to satisfy everyone.

Now with summer approaching, we will be on the go more and that means more dinners out. Luckily, Carrabas has seven signature dishes that are under $10. Each of these dishes are served with your choice of a house salad or soup.

One limited time featured pasta meal is the Pasta Rambo. This dish consists of shrimp tossed with imported Italian linguine, spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes sautéed in our basil lemon butter sauce. This entree sounds pretty good to me, especially considering the cost. When you're feeding a family of four, a $10 restaurant meal is a good deal.

Of course, occasionally a splurge dessert is a great way to end dinner. Back this summer is Carrabas Limoncello Bread pudding. This dish is described as "brioche bread pudding made with fresh Madagascar vanilla beans and a rich custard, served hot out of the oven. Topped with Blue Bell vanilla ice cream and drizzled with Carrabba’s homemade Caravella Limoncello liqueur sauce."  I think that this dessert would convince me to spend a few extra hours at the gym.

Do you think that Carraba's fits your family's pasta personality?  Whether your traditional or adventurous, the signature Carrabas dishes will match your pasta personality. Be sure to check out the Carrabba’s Personality Quiz on Facebook to see what dishes might make your mouth water.

  1. There's such quiz? That's interesting. :) Pasta has always been one of my favorites. The meatballs look oozingly delicious.
