Savers opens Naperville location May 19

On Thursday, May 19, Savers opens its first Naperville location. Savers is a thrift store that partners with a local charity. For the Naperville location, the Savers benefits the Friends of Epilepsy Foundation Greater Chicago.  The mission of this charity is to “ ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and will prevent, control, and cure epilepsy through services, education, advocacy, and research.”

Recently, I was given the opportunity to preview the Naperville Savers store. I was extremely impressed. The store was huge. Savers sells clothing, household items, books, toys, games jewelry and accessories. The inventory was enormous. From designer shoes to high end label jeans, Savers had aisles and aisles of merchandise.

What really hit home for me were the savings. A few of the store employees created outfits from the store’s merchandise. One employee created a cute summer ensemble of Capri pants, blouse, shoes, and accessories for under $40; and, many of the pieces were designer labels.  Other retail stores can’t beat these prices.
This Memorial Day weekend Savers is offering even more savings. On May 30 from 7 am till 9 pm, Savers will offer 50% off clothing, shoes, accessories, bed and bath. Visit the Savers website to get your discount pass.

The Naperville Savers is located at 204 South Route 59, Naperville, 60540. The store hours are Monday through Saturday 9 am till 9 pm and Sunday from 10 am till 7 pm.

If your family is looking to save a few dollars and help a good cause, check out Savers.
