Kane County Cougars offer free baseball tickets for good grades this weekend

My kids love baseball, but I don't love the high dollar cost of taking them to a Cubs or Sox game. Our compromise is the Kane County Cougars.

Kane County Cougars are a minor league baseball team that plays their games in Geneva, Illinois. The games are very affordable and many of their programs are geared towards families.

Just recently, the Cougars announced that they will be giving kids free tickets for good grades. For this weekend, any student that shows a report card with at least a "B" average, that child will receive a free ticket to a game this weekend. To order your ticket, please contact the Cougars online or via phone at 630-232-8811.

In addition to the good grades promotion, the Cougars are offering another promotion this weekend. For fans who purchase 5 tickets for this weekend's game, they will receive a sixth ticket free.  Game tickets for Cougar games range from $14 to $8 depending on game day and seat location.

The Cougar games offer tons of fun events at their home games. This weekend there will be fireworks after the game and the Zooperstars will perform on Saturday, June 12. Before the game on Saturday there will be an autograph session with Cougar players. And, the big fun for kids, after every home game, everyone is invited to run the bases. A perfect way to end a day of baseball.

If you family hasn't tried Kane County Cougar baseball, it's definitely a fun, family event.
