Surviving middle school with Discover Girls -review/giveaway

At first glance, the thought of going to middle school sounds exciting. You get to meet new kids, you get your first locker and there's lots of firsts.

Unfortunately, for many girls, these new experiences can come with some downsides. The embarrassing moments, school pressures and many other areas can make this new experience a daunting one. Discovery Girls wants to give these impressionable girls the assistance to make their middle school experience a great one.

The Discovery Girls Middle School Survival Guide Series has 4 books to help bolster their self confidence at this influential time. These books cover the following issues body image, school pressure, friendship program, embarrassing moments and many more. The key to this series of books is to focus on developing postive images of themselves.

Today's society is rough on young girls. There are pressures from all areas including social media and peers. Without a good set of tools to help these young girls to succeed, they can have a difficult time with the pressures.

For example, I have a friend's daughter that is struggling in middle school. She struggles with her weight. She's not obese, but she isn't super skinny. She is a normal girl, normal size, regular kid. Now in middle school her elementary friends are distancing themselves from her because she isn't a size 0. I gave these books to my friend and she appreciated the simple straight-forward advice. Yes, it's a long process, but her daughter is gaining confidence and finding her niche.

Do you know a young girl or family that could use these 4 books?  I have a set of Discovery Girls books to giveaway. Please use the Rafflecopter to enter.
