With the Shameless season 2 premier set to take place on Sunday, January 8, it's a great time to look back on Season 1. It seems that each episode has an incident where you question why would possess Frank to blow all of his money at the bar. What if he just gave a little money to his hard working daughter Fiona? Would only a few dollars make a huge difference to her life or the family's life?

For example, Frank cashes his disability check at the bar. Unfortunately, his tab is so high that he just gets a few dollars back from the check. Even if Frank gave $20 a week to Fiona and the family, maybe she wouldn't have to stretch the milk with water.
For the hard working Fiona, a few dollars from Frank's disability checks could give her a night out, a day at a spa or groceries for the week. Even a few dollars could take the pressure off her over consuming plate.Since Fiona lives in Chicago, I think that she should spend the night at Hotel 71 and have dinner at Hoyt's Chicago. It's the perfect spot to enjoy all the sights of Michigan Avenue, eat a delicious dinner, and indulge a luxurious night in a boutique hotel.
