Outlive Your Life by Max Lucado review

Do you look at the world around you or do you see what the world has to offer?  A slightly different perspective on how and why people come into our lives can make a huge impact on ourselves as well as the world at large.

Outlive Your Life, by Max Lucado examines the path that our lives take.

Whether we choose to help the homeless man on the corner or whether we roll up the car window can impact our life journey. In that scenario there are several thoughts that can enter our minds. 1. That man on the corner might be down on his luck and need a little help. 2. That man is lazy and he should go out and get a job. I'm not saying one ideology is right or wrong, but your action impacts not just yourself, but many lives beyond the man on the corner. Think about it. A simple action towards a total stranger can set in motion a chain of event.

The book, Out Live Your Life, is about seeing the world from a different perspective. How everyone sees and acts towards others reflects on your life. Whether or not you are a spiritual person, we all can see the impact of cause and effect. Look at fundraisers for all the causes in the world. When there is a crisis, we as a community, pull together and try to improve the situation. In many causes, like health issues, we may not see the results in a day or even lifetime, but our willingness to help is profound. The action makes a difference.

If you are looking for a little inspiration for your actions during your day, read a few chapters of Outlive Your Life by Max Lucado. It might make an impact where you least expect it.
