Sunday, September 12 is National Grandparent's Day.
Culver's is celebrating this holiday by offering all grandparents $1 single dishes or cake cones of custard.

National Grandparent's Day was established in 1978 by then President Jimmy Carter. It is celebrated the first Sunday after Labor Day.
The idea to celebrate Grandparent's Day was to combat loneliness often felt by the elderly in nursing homes. It is believed that grandparents and the older generations have great knowledge and wisdom to bestow to the younger generations.
On Sunday let's honor our older generations by saying thank you for all you have done for us.
