Below are a list of the weekly story times and their descriptions.
- Lapsit Storytime:An introduction to story time for children ages birth through 23 months. This 20-minute interactive program includes stories, songs and fingerplays. You will have time after the program to share board books and other featured titles with your little one. An adult caregiver must attend with each child. The only exception is in the case of twins. For lapsit age child and caregiver only. Sorry, no younger or older siblings allowed.
- 2's: A 20-minute storytime program of stories, songs and fingerplays for the 2-year old child and accompanying adult only. Sorry, no younger or older siblings allowed.
- 3's: A special storytime for the 3 year old who may not be comfortable participating in story time alone. Parent/caregiver attendance is optional. We hope that after several story times, your 3 year old will be ready to attend without a parent or caregiver. For the 3 year old child only, sorry, no younger or older siblings allowed.
- 4, 5, K: This independent storytime is for children who are comfortable listening, singing and learning early literacy skills by themselves. No registration is required and no younger siblings please.
- Family Storytime: This 30-minute program of stories, songs and more is for children of all ages. At least one parent or adult caregiver is required to accompany children to these fun-filled programs.
- Make It, Take It: Join us for a fun story time program of stories and crafts for you and your preschooler. Activities will be geared to 3 and 4-year olds, but 5-year olds are welcome to attend. Younger siblings may accompany the older child, there will be coloring sheets for them. At least one adult caregiver must attend with their children. Limit 20 children doing crafts.
Also, remember to bring your or your child's Naperville Public Library card because you may be made to show the card.
