Our family loves visiting all the Chicago Museums. But, a day at the Shedd can wipe out the family entertainment budget for the month. So, when the Shedd Aquarium offers special discount days, we try to take advantage.
Every day in September, the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago will offer free general admission to the first 80 guests. General Admission includes Waters of the World, Amazon Rising, and the Caribbean Reef. Other exhibits, Wild Reef, Polar Play Zone and Oceanarium, are available at a discounted rate. The special September discount is available to celebrate the 80 years that the Shedd has been open.
In addition to first 80 free admissions a day in September, the Shedd Aquarium offers community discount days. During Community Discount Days, general admission is free, which includes the Waters of the World, Amazon Rising, and the Caribbean Reef. Packages including Wild Reef, Polar Play Zone and Oceanarium are available at a discounted rate.
