Having magically traveled to the land of ZhuZhu, Pipsqueak joins other Zhus for a journey to help her home. Quest for Zhu is the story of four hamsters on their journey to the Palace of Zhu. The Palace of Zhu is where the Zhus believe all their dreams will come true. The story features four Zhu hamsters, Pipsqueak, Chunk, Num Nums and Mr. Squiggles. Throughout their travels, the Zhus learn the importance of friendship. While on their journey, the Zhus battle the evil Mezhula and learn about teamwork. In the end, by working together, the Zhus overcome the Mezhula and realize that they have everything that they could want.
Recently, my family was given the opportunity to preview the new Zhu Zhu pets movie, Quest for Zhu. It was a rainy day, so we invite the neighborhood kids over for movie day. I was a little afraid that some of the older boys would think that the movie was going to be too girlie. But everyone enjoyed it. The boys really liked the battle scenes with Mezhula. We did have one little girl find a few of the scenes a little scary. Overall, all the kids enjoyed the movie and wanted to see it again.
Also, the kids enjoyed sing-along videos at the end of the movie. We played the sing-alongs over and over so that everyone could have a chance for their own moment in the spotlight.
Quest of Zhu will be released on September 27. It will be available at major retailers and on-line.
