Phineas and Ferb, 2nd Dimension party, a huge success

Where's Perry? He was at our house on Friday, August 5 for the premier of Phineas and Ferb Across the Second Dimension.

Our friends and neighbors came over Friday night to watch the movie. It was a huge success. Prior to the movie we had the kids sing their favorite Phineas and Ferb song. From Back Yard Beach to Busted, the kids, and a few adults, belted out all the songs from the shows. Then it was time to pop some popcorn and sit back to enjoy the show.

One of the highlights of the movie was the many references to previous episodes. At the end of the movie, some of the well known characters/adventures were brought back to fight the robots. There was even a special appearance by Love Handel. The montage was my husband's favorite part.

As for my boys, their favorite part that Phineas and Ferb finally got to see Perry's secret lair. All of the boys imagination and hard work during summer vacation was the key to saving Danville from destruction.

Also, make sure that you watch the entire movie. I loved the special appearance by Slash (yes, Slash from Guns and Roses fame) playing in a song during the credits. Did you know that every Phineas & Ferb episode must have at least 1 song?  That's a lot of songs. Lucky for me my boys sing them all. 

Our family and friends would recommend seeing Phineas and Ferb Across the Second Dimension. Luckily we set our DVR to record so that we can see it again this weekend.

Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension premier August 5, are you ready?

Where's Perry? He's coming to our house Friday, August 5 for the premier of the Phineas and Ferb movie Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension.

On Friday night we having some of our friends over to watch the premier of the original Disney XD movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension.

In our house, Phineas and Ferb is the favorite Disney show. From Candace trying to bust her brothers to all the songs in each episode, the boys love them all. Even my husband is a huge fan. Saturday mornings are spent with all the boys sitting around the television watching the latest installment.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Phineas and Ferb, here's an overview.
"Phineas and Ferb is the hit animated Emmy Award-winning series, which follows two stepbrothers, Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher, who set out to conquer boredom and make every day of their 104-day summer vacation count. However their older sister, Candace, gets frantic at her brothers' extraordinary adventures and makes it her life's work to tattle on them to Mom and Dad…but somehow she's never quite able to prove what the boys have done. Phineas and Ferb are accompanied by their pet platypus, Perry, who seems to be a docile, mindless family pet, but unbeknownst to everyone, including Phineas and Ferb, Perry has a secret life as suave Agent P, deftly battling the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz to save the world."

So what does the new movie have in store? Here's the plot synopsis. " In this animated adventure -- based on Disney Channel's Emmy Award-winning comedy series "Phineas and Ferb" -- stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb go on their biggest journey yet, into another dimension! When the boys finally discover that their beloved pet platypus Perry is in fact a secret agent who battles the forces of evil daily, they join him on a grand adventure that blasts them to another dimension where a truly evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz has taken over an alternate Tri-state Area. When they uncover his ploy to travel back to their dimension to take over their Tri-state Area, the gang, as well as their alter-egos, must band together to stop him."

So join us in your home on Friday, August 5. Watch the Phineas and Ferb movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension on the Disney channel at 8 pm (or 7 pm CST).
