The biggest obstacle when
pursuing new technology is the lack of access to the fun, exciting items that
are hyped in the media. According to a new study by Intel and Toluna, 79% of
Americans are excited about the chance to learn and try new technologies. The
Intel Technology Experience Zone brings the latest technology into the hands of
the user.

Staffed by specially trained Best Buy Blue Shirts to answer
questions and help, the Intel Technology Experience is the perfect interactive
way to showcase the power of Intel. Intel is the technology behind these new,
innovative activities but also powers the tablets and laptops that everyone
uses on a daily bases.
Some of the fun interactive activities in the Intel Technology Experience include building and printing their own 3D robot, showing off their racing skills on Mars in an augmented reality world, mastering beats and remixing tracks by Ne-Yo as a digital DJ, and checking out the latest PC and tablet devices powered by Intel processors.
Recently, my children and I
experienced the Intel Technology Experience for ourselves. Two highlights were
the Mars Rover game and the Ne-Yo digital DJ.
For busy, on the go types, a
tablet isn't a luxury; it has become a necessity. Beyond checking emails or
social media, tablets offer a great source for gaming. The Mars Rover
experience, part of the Best Buy Intel Technology Experience, makes gaming fast
paced, multi-faceted experience. From shooting the code to unlock the game to
moving the rover across the board, the game engages the user from the
beginning.
The other favorite part of
the Intel Technology Experience was the Ne-Yo digital DJ. With the ability to
add and remove parts of the song, the kids believed that they were their own
composer. The process to add, delete, increase and decrease sounds was simple
to understand yet the effect was impressive. Giving the home user at any age
the ability to showcase their creativity is a tremendous benefit of the Intel
technology.
