Create a family of world travelers with Around the World Game - #review/#giveaway

Some people are fortunate to have traveled the world. Others dream of being a world traveler. It doesn't matter if your passport is full of stamps or is empty. Everyone can be an informed citizen of the world. Knowledge about the world around us is important. Our global society cannot flourish if we are isolated or live in a bubble. It is time to learn about the world. Put your knowledge to the test with Around the World game.

Around the World game puts your knowledge about geography, language, culture and people to the test. Players earn tokens for each correct answer. The first player to travel the world and fill his Global Score Card wins.

Having recently returned from an international trip with the entire family (we traveled to Costa Rica), I was interested to see how my kids would enjoy this game. Since my kids are younger, we used a lot of the hints to help with the answers. Some questions were easy for them to answer. While other questions proved to be good learning tools.

Since we were just in a Hispanic country, the simple Spanish phrases were a huge hit. I liked the idea that the questions re-enforced topics that the kids recently learned.

Mostly importantly, this game shows the kids that we are part of a global community. Other cultures and customs are just as important as the ones that are embedded in our community.  Hopefully, the more we play this game, the kids will develop a desire to explore and travel the world.
