What is everyone reading this week - weekly round-up

This week has been a busy one. With a holiday to kick off Monday and a blanket of snow to end the week, there has been a flurry of activity all around.

Just so you haven't missed some of the week's top post, here is a highlight of some blog posts that I liked this week.

With our busy lifestyles, who doesn't want a simple, fast cake recipe! Family, Love and Other Stuff has a super easy 1-2-3 cake recipe that uses your microwave. Now you can have a quick dessert for those unexpected guests.

Now that you have your cake recipe in hand, it's time to go shopping!  It always amazes me that some shoppers have the knack to get a HUGE savings on shopping trip. The Coupon Queen that Saves the Green really out did herself on the latest CVS shopping trip. Can you save as much as her this week?  Anyone who can save more than they spent is a great shopper in my book.

Our house is usually a busy one. When we have breaks from our sports, I think that it is important for my kids to stay active. My Unentitled Life has wrote a post on the Top 5 Presents to Keep Your Child Productive. We purchased our kids a camera for Christmas and it has been a great present. The kids explore and remember more about the places we had visited now that they capture the moment.

These are just a few of my favorite posts of the week. What did you find this week that got your inspired?

  2. I haven't been reading much this month! I need to read more next month. I think Spring Break will be a great time to catch up on some things I have saved on me ebook shelf!

  3. I've been so behind with my own blog that I've slowed down on reading others. This is a great collection of posts though.
