Free tickets to Disney Ice Presents Rockin Ever After

Want to give your kids a special present and do something good for the environment? Coming the Chicago area is the new Disney production, Disney on Ice present Rockin' Ever After.
 Here is your family's chance to get free tickets to the show.

On Saturday, January 5, the first 50 families to drop off a Christmas tree to be recycled at Grant Park (900 S. Columbus Drive) will receive four complimentary tickets to Rockin Ever After.

Disney's Rockin' Ever After is the first Disney show to feature Merida and other characters from the movie Brave. Kids and families will be delighted to see their favorite Disney characters take to the ice for the newest production from Feld Entertainment.

In the Highland theme, guests will get to see a special presentations. The first day of the City’s 2013 Christmas Tree Recycling initiative, families arriving at the Grant Park drop-off site between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. will be able to enjoy a Twelfth Night celebration including Scottish dancers, kilt-clad bagpipers and free hot cider.

Chicago’s Christmas Tree Recycling Program is an initiative of the Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation (DSS), in partnership with the Chicago Park District. In an effort to reduce the amount of waste deposited in landfills, DSS and Chicago Park District forestry crews will be accepting Christmas trees from January 5-18, 2013, at 23 locations throughout the City. Trees dropped off will be ground into fragrant mulch and made available to residents at no cost at the same locations beginning Friday, Jan. 11. Since the program began in 1990, more than 157,700 trees have been kept out of landfills. More than 14,300 trees were recycled last year alone.   2. I really wish this was coming close to me. I've never been to a Disney on Ice show, but I heard they're pretty amazing!
