Get rompus with Magic Feather, - game review

There is a phrase that can bring a parent to their wits end - Mom, I'm bored!  That simple phrase send fear into a household. Some of us know all too well what happens when kids are bored. Boredom leads to bad choices (usually followed by some time of large scale clean-up). Stave off winter boredom with the new game from Wiggity Games, Magic Feather.

Magic Feather is the fast moving, quick thinking game that will get all the players laughing. Players choose their animal playing piece, magic feather and a crow piece. Each player chooses a story card, which tells them where to begin. In turn, players draw Magic Feather cards, which require a special task.

The game is played by completing a variety of actions throughout the game. For example, a player draws a card that says "go find something that smells and bring it back to the game."  It could be anything. Think about the possibilities. A player could bring a candle, a pepper or an old stinky shoe. By completing the task, you get to move 5 spaces.

Sprinkled throughout the game are crow pieces that can block other players movements. Crows create blocks to players movements.

The goal of the game is to collect the magic feathers before reaching the end spot.

Families will be drawn to this game because it is good nature, silly fun. Throughout the game, players are encouraged to use their imaginations and communicate with each other. Still the game isn't just goofy action. Players must think about their paths and how to use the crows. In all, this game is sure to make a family game night very enjoyable.

Magic Feather is available at specialty toy stores or online. It retails for approximately $19.99  The game is recommended for ages 7 and up.

Next family night grab a game that can bring a little light-hearted fun to your evening with Magic Feather.
