Del Monte Fruit Cup Snacks, the convenient way to pack fruit - review/giveaway

I constantly try to encourage my kids to eat more fruit. It can be difficult to fight the battle against candy and carbs (ie chips, crackers, etc). In many cases, grabbing a bag of popcorn or chips on the way to practice is easier than a bowl of fruit. Still, the more fruit that the kids can consume the better. One product is aiding my fruit battle, Del Monte Fruit Cup Snacks.

Del Monte Fruit Cup Snacks are the perfect size and container for busy families on the go. The plastic sealed cups are a single serving of fruit in a easy to pack container.

Two flavors that are big hits in my house are the Del Monte Diced Pears in Extra Light Syrup with Vanilla and Spice and Del Monte Diced Apples and Pears in Extra Light Syrup with Carmel. My kids will grab these options out of the pantry for snack time. Personally, I like the apples and pears in caramel because it reminds me of caramel apples, but without the extreme guilt of eating a HUGE caramel apple. The spice and sweet is the perfect flavor combination for fall.

There are many aspects to these fruit cups that I like. First, these cups do not have to be refrigerated. For me, it's a pain to carry a cooler to events. Since I don't have to worry about refrigeration, I am more likely to bring these cups to swim meets. My kids get more fruit in their diet and I have a good snack on hand.Plus, fruit is perfect fuel to keep them performing at the best for swim meets.

Also, these fruit cups are perfect for school lunches. The size is large enough to be a good accompaniment for lunch without being too much for little tummies.I can throw a cup and spoon in the lunch box. The kids like their lunch treat and I know that they are getting extra fruits in their diet.

Del Monte Fruit Cup Snacks come in a variety of flavors. Some flavors include mixed fruit, tropical fruit, diced peaches, mandarin orange, cherry mixed fruit, strawberry-banana peaches, diced peaches in light syrup with cinnamon and brown sugar.Check out your local grocer or mass merchant for a selection of flavors.

Would your family like to try these Del Monte Fruit Cups? I have a prize package to give to one of my readers. Please use the Rafflecopter to enter.
