Celebrate Back to School at Standard Market Sept 8

School is in session. Moms are happy the kids are out of the house, but the looming What's for Dinner quandary is ever present. Guess who can make our busy lives easier - Standard Market. 

Standard Market wants to help make this busy time easier with its Back to School Bash.

On Saturday, September 8, the whole store will be in a back to school partying mood. From sampling stations to live entertainment, the whole store will be rocking

Here's a list of some of the special events for the day.

  • For every dollar spent on highlighted items in the store, 10% of the sale price will be donated to a school organization in need.
  • Bring school supplies to donate and receive a Standard Market reusable bag.
  • Spend $100 and receive a $25 voucher for lunch at Bakersfield.
  • Check out fall menu updates for What's for Dinner tonight and the Grill. 
Below is a schedule of activities for the day. 

  • 11am-2pm: Face painting
  • 11am-2pm: Magic shows from Matt the Magician
  • 11am-4pm: Sampling stations throughout the store featuring AmaFruits, American Spoon, Aurora Angus Beef, Bobtail Ice Cream, Chocolate Twist, Compart Duroc pork, Co-op Hot Sauce, D’Artagnan Meats, FoodMatch olives, Gnarly Knots, GoMacro, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Koeze Peanut Butter, La-De-Dahs, Localfolks Foods, Olivista olive oil, Spence & Co. smoked salmon, and a variety of Standard Market housemade items
  • 12pm-1:30pm: Performances by students from Rock Academy in Downers Grove
  • 2pm-4pm: Live music by Jimmy Boy from Cicero, Ill.
