Throw away the responsibilities like the characters on Children's Hospital

Some days you don't want to be an adult. The idea of going to a job, taking care of a family and being responsible is far from your mind. Maybe one morning you just want to wake up and goof off. Children generally have no responsibilities, worries, or cares. What if you could take a day (or just a couple of hours) to throw it all away?  Would you do it?

I rarely skip my responsibilities. Usually, I'm up early. I take a few minutes for myself and then I'm off taking care of the kids, house and family as a whole. But I yearn for a day to act like a big kid. I want to forget about the piles of laundry, stacks of bills and other items that are weighing me down.

While I may not escaped it all this summer, but I did spend a day acting like a kid. This summer I took my children to Six Flags. I haven't been to an amusement park since I was young. I used to love going on the rides, throwing caution to the wind, and screaming my lungs out. Since my kids had never been on many of the more thrilling rides, I got to see the thrill, nervousness and elation through their eyes. For an entire day, we all were little kids, who ate ice cream, played carnival games and felt our stomachs drop through every twist and turn. It was a great summer day free of all adult responsibilities.

One place where some people often shy away from their responsibilities is Children's Hospital. Check out this clip from the show.
