Sodastream, soda the way I want it, when I want it, without the waste review

In our house, I try to moderate how much soda we consume. The idea of having lots of cans and bottles in the house is too big of a temptation. But every once and a while I want something other than water. One of my big problems is that I only want a little. Not a whole can, definitely not a 2 liter bottle. I just want a small cup. I feel bad throwing away a half drunk can. Now I have a solution for my soda dilemma, SodaStream.

SodaStream is perfect for our family. I can make soda when I want it, how I want it, without waste.

How does Sodastream work?  It is simple.Fill up the special SodaStream bottle with water (yes, plain tap water). Attach it to the system and press the button. The water in the bottle becomes carbonated. A little carbonation or a lot, it is your choice. Add some flavored syrup or drink on its own. Your done. In under 30 seconds, you have a bottle of soda that you have made. Simple, easy and lets waste.

Here's a tip for making your soda taste amazing. Fill your largest pot with tap water. Leave the pot on your stove over night (don't cover). Over night the chlorine particles will evaporate leaving a wonderful tasting water. Much better than any bottle water available.

SodaStream has 30 varieties of flavored syrups. Options include regular flavors (like cola. orange, etc), diet sodas, sparking teas, and sparkling naturals. Add a cap-ful of flavor to the carbonated water. Maybe you could mix flavors too (I've tried half orange/half lemon line - tasty). There is a flavor that will please any palate, even the most discerning soda drinker.

Plus, SodaStream even has an energy drink option. Who wants to pay several dollars per can for an energy drink when I can have the SodaStream version in just seconds.

What I love about SodaStream is how much money our family will save with this product. From soda to sparking water, we no longer have to spend tons of money. By using this product we are spending only 25 cents per can of soda/bottle of sparking water. I don't know any sale that can compete with that cost. Plus, I don't have to stockpile cans throughout the house to take advantage of a store sale. The SodaStream is cheaper and I have less clutter. It is a win in every situation.

Another great advantage to the SodaStream is that the product is environmentally conscious. Did you know that according to the US Recycling Institute, more than 80% of bottles in the US do not get recycled and end up in landfills. Also, an estimated 4.7 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions were produced in the process of replacing the 134 billion bottles and cans not recycled in 2005.Using a SodaStream can reduce this number greatly. One SodaStream carbonator makes 60 or 110 liters, equivalent to 170 or 310 aluminum cans!

SodaStream offers a variety of home soda makers. The Fountain Jet starts at $79.99 and other more expensive options are available. SodaStream sells its products and accessories numerous national retailers including Bed Bath and Beyond, Costco, and Kohls.

Stop wasting money and creating extra waste. Buy a SodaStream for your family today!
