Disney on Ice Dare to Dream, supports our local community through Ice Out Hunger

Did you know that more than 60,000 different people each week rely on the food provided by Northern Illinois Food Bank through its 600 network partners?  With our economy struggling, many families in our community rely on local food banks to assist their family's needs. The Northern Illinois Food Bank is one charitable organization that donates food staples to those needy families in Dupage county.

Disney on Ice is proud to support the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Now through February 1, families can donate non-perishable food items. A donation will enter the family to win a complimentary family four pack of tickets to Disney on Ice Dare to Dream. Donations can be dropped off at the Dupage Children's Museum, located at 301 N. Washington Street in Naperville.

include peanut butter, whole grain pasta, rice, whole grain cereal, canned chicken and tuna, dried beans, canned fruits (preferably in own juice), canned vegetables, reduced-sodium soup, and pasta sauce (in plastic jars or cans).  It is asked that no glass containers should be donated.

Disney On Ice Dare to Dream opens at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois, Jan. 25-29.  It then moves to Chicago’s United Center, Feb. 1-12.  For additional information, log on to www.disneyonice.com.
