Sears weekend family fun, ice cream and more

We are all busy with holiday shopping. When kids go from store to store, their excitement level can be zapped in a second. This weekend stop by Sears to put a little smile back into their holiday shopping spirit. After all Santa may be watching.

At the Fox Valley, Harlem Avenue, Woodfield Mall and Orland Park Sears locations for some kid inspired holiday fun.

Here is a list of events for Saturday, December 3

12- 3 pm: Build a Candy Cane Dispenser with Farley's and Sathers Candy 

• Visit the Sears Kid's Workshop to build your dispenser. To participate, please purchase a kit for $5.00, which includes all materials. 
• This project is recommended for children ages 4-10. Maximum of 60 kids per workshop event and the event is first come, first serve.

12-3 pm: McDonald's™ Cone Coupon

• Visit the kid's workshop for your free coupon. The first 50 who attend kid's workshop will receive 1 (one)  coupon for a McDonald's ice cream cone.

12pm - 3pm: Voucher to the Museum of Science and Industry

• Visit the new Fun Zone at Sears. The first 50 kids to visit will receive a voucher for 1 free child admission to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
