Wizard World Comic Con Chicago is full of appearances, exhibits, and fun. The Chicago stop will include a trade day and gaming events sponsored by the Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA).
An important part to Wizard World events is the aspect of tabletop gaming. The partnership with GAMA will highlight these types of games.
During the weekend's events the GAMA will have demonstrations in the the gaming area located in the exhibit hall. 2011 Origins Awards winner and 2012 submissions will be included in the demonstrations. The Origins Awards recognize outstanding achievement in design and production of games and game related products. These awards are presented annually.

• Evil Hat Productions - The Dresden Files RPG and Our World
• Looney Labs, Inc. – Back the Future, The Card Game
• Steve Jackson Games – Zombie Dice, Cthulhu Dice Bag
• Wiz Kids/NECA - DC HeroClix Blackest Night Starter Game
• Mayfair Games - Catan Histories - Settlers of America: Trails to Rails
• Catalyst Game Labs - Shadowrun: Spells and Chrome
• Harlequin Games - The One Ring (A Legends Module)
