For families with small children, a visit to the Hamill Family Play Zoo is a must for any trip to Brookfield Zoo.
On Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12, the Hamill Family Play Zoo will celebrate it's tenth anniversary with a weekend full of special activities and performances.
Special performances will be held on the West Mall and are free with zoo admission. On Saturday at 4 pm, Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players will perform some of their favorite songs. Justin Roberts is the winner of six Parents' Choice Gold awards and is a favorite of both kids and parents.
On Sunday at 11 am and 1 pm, The Kratt Brothers will appear and there will be an autograph session following the afternoon show. The Kratt Brothers are known for their PBS show Zoboomafoo, Kratts' Creatures and Be The Creature on National Geographic Channel.
