Twizzlers Landmark Summer, what's your summer destination
Taking a family road trip can be fun, but can also be a headache for us moms. From finding fun car game to the best non-messy snacks, I know that my trip planning occurs far ahead of pulling out of the driveway.
Last year we took a road trip to the Washington DC area. It was an opportunity for our kids to see some history of our country and reconnect with relatives. But, the 13+ hour car ride required some major planning. We had everything planned once we arrived, but the road trip aspect of the trip took some undertaking.
One idea we tried was to stop at various "unusual" attractions along the way. Of course, there's something to be said about "keep on trucking" but the occassional stop at a fun road-side attraction was a great break for the kids. One personal favorite was Dinosaur Land in Virginia. The kids got to have some fun and we all got a little break from being in the van.
Another important aspect of traveling is making sure that the car is stocked with good snacks. Something to keep in mind making sure that the snack is car friendly. No one wants melted chocolate or split Sunny D for an entire car trip.
One great snack option for a road trip is Twizzlers. Did you know that Twizzlers don't melt? Plus, Twizzlers Nibs are the perfect size for sharing amongst the group. Check out all the great Twizzlers products at www.twizzlers.com.
Right now, Twizzlers is hosting the Twizzlers Landmark Summer™ promotion. The promotion gives consumers the chance to win a trip to a well-known United States destination plus daily, road trip-themed prizes throughout the summer. Head over to www.twizzlers.com for your chance to win.
