I’m always looking for new children friendly iPhone apps. I know that my kids can play some of those popular games, but sometimes I would like an app that is a little more child friendly, for example, an app that caters to their creativity, like when they sit down with crayons and paper.
COMBOAPP has introduced a new app that allows kids to use their creative side, 3D Coloring Book for Kids: Fantasy Girls. In this kid-friendly app, users can create their own character in a 3D environment. Even the inexperienced digital artist can develop a fluid and beautiful illustration. Through shading and a variety of hues, the end result is a realistic looking character.
The unique aspect to this app is that your creation can be placed in an animated environment. Whether you want your princess to wish on shooting stars or show her beating heart for her prince, the app offers numerous possibilities. What I liked about the 3D coloring app is the ease of use. By simply touching an area, the entire section would be colored. I didn’t have to carefully fill-in the space. The process was easy for little ones to easily accomplish/color the picture. Plus, we were able to save the pictures of the princess. My kids and I created stories about the characters we created. It was a great way for the kids to use their imagination.
3D Coloring Book for Kids: Fantasy Girls can be purchased on iTunes for $0.99. This app is available for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and it requires iOS 3.0 or later. The app is developed by Intersog LLC.
