BYOU & Cymphonique, encouraging girls to embrace their authentic selves, review & giveaway

In today’s ever changing world, building a girl’s self-esteem is imperative to a successful, fulfilled life. It might sound contrite, but a strong self-esteem is the foundation to many of life’s milestones.

BYOU.com, Be Your Own You understands the importance of fostering a young girl’s self esteem. Its mission is to build the self-esteem of girls, teens and young women worldwide by encouraging them to embrace their unique and authentic selves.

Many of us have seen young girls seek validation and approval from others. Unfortunately, this instinct to seek approval does not foster their awareness of inner beauty and self-worth.  Young girls need to empower themselves through positive choices in their health, safety well-being, personal happiness and contribution to their community.

The website BYOU is a safe on-line community for young girls. All the website programming builds on its belief that “every girl deserves a healthy self-esteem.”

BYOU is part of the Children’s Education Network (CEN).  Becoming the premier online community for children, CEN and TUKI offers educational content that inspires and motivates children in a positive manner

BYOU is privileged to have a partnered with Cymphonique Miller. Cymphonique, a.ka. Lil’ Miss Swaggar, is a versatile performer who has lent her talents to promote BYOU and its mission. Known for her song, All That, Cymphonique recently signed a development deal with Nickeloden. As a spokeswoman for BYOU and the founder of the Fabulous Girls charity, Cymphonique sets a great example for young girls to empower themselves.

Cymphonique has created a line of t-shirts especially for BYOU. The Cymphonique Signature shirts express Cymphonique’s belief “when you are not being your own you, you’re not living up to your greatest potential.”
The Cymphonique Signature shirts and other BYOU appeal retail between $15 and $20.  BYOU items can be purchased on-line at http://www.BYOUapparel.com.

More information on BYOU, the on-line community and apparel can be found on www.beyourownyou.com, its Facebook page or Twitter account.

The best piece of advice I could give to a young girl is to be true to yourself, always. My daughter is 15, and I know in her heart, she is true to her self, and what she believes in.

  9. It is ok to be different. My favorite saying: "What is right isn't always popular and what is popular isn't always right!"

Loved this when I was a teen and love it still!
