My kids love silly bands. The boys are always looking for new shapes to add to their collection.
Unfortunately, sometimes the shapes that my kids want just don’t exist. But, I’ve found a solution to the silly band problem.
The Silly Band Factory is a fun toy that allows kids (and adults) to make their own silly bands.
Simply create a design on the peg board by using the pegs to create a shape. Carefully wrap the silly band around the pegs. Put your creation in an oven and 15 minutes. Allow your newly created silly band to cool for a few minutes. Now you’re ready to show your friends your newly created silly band.
If you need a little creative inspiration, The Silly Band Factory offers some examples and templates to get your creative juices flowing. So think of your favorite animal, person or even word. With the Silly Band Factory, it becomes a reality.
We tried the Silly Band Factory in our house. Since it is Christmas time, the boys and I made some Christmas trees, a Christmas present and even a snow angel. The process was simple; think of creating a design like following dot to dot. The kids took to the process very quickly. It was a great way to spend the afternoon creating shapes.
The Silly Band Factory retails for $15.00 and can be purchased on-line at www.sillybandfactory.com.
The creator of the Silly Band Factory has graciously given me one to give away to my readers.
