Chicago's Blogger Brunch series starts with a giveway - treat yourself to Cold Stone Creamery

Recently, I was invited to a blogger brunch sponsored by Child’s Play Communications. This brunch was my first media event that I attended. I was so impressed by the Child’s Play Communications staff and all the amazing sponsors. Over the next couple of days, I’m going to be posting information about the wonderful products that I saw.

To kick off this series is a great giveaway.

One of the sponsors of the blogger brunch was Cold Stone Creamery. Many of you may be familiar with Cold Stone Creamery. Cold Stone doesn’t just serve ice cream; it serves “creations.”  For over 20 years, Cold Stone has been giving ice cream the way that you want it. Whether you like nuts, candy or gummy bears, these ingredients will be mixed into their signature flavors on the stone (a cold piece of marble). So if you have special flavor combination or you rather let the artists make a Cold Stone Creation, you will get an delicious treat.

Recently, Cold Stone introduced signature 8 layer cakes. There are two flavors, quilted coffee caramel and cake batter layers. I was given an opportunity to try both cakes and I will say that I’m hooked.  My favorite was the cake batter layers. With the layers of cake batter ice cream, yellow cake and a few pieces of cookie dough, I had found a great dessert. We’ve decided to add this cake to our Christmas dessert bar.

Would you like to try one of the new signature 8 layer cakes, signature pie or a signature creation?

The gracious people at Cold Stone Creamery have given me a $20 gift card to give away to one of my readers.

How to enter:  Tell me what Signature Cake or Signature Pie would you serve over the holidays. (visit http://www.coldstonecreamery.com/index.html to see all the options).
