Downtown Naperville presents the Little Friends Electric Lights Parade

The Naperville tradition continues this year with the annual Little Friends Electric Lights Parade and Grand Illumination.

On Friday, November 26 at 4 pm, the hometown holiday celebration kicks off with the Little Friends Lights Parade. The parade starts at Centennial Beach, heads east on Jackson, north on Webster to west on Van Buren.  A main stage area will be at Jefferson and Webster. You will be able to hear and see the parade from this location. Also at the main stage will be masters of ceremony Mary Kay Kleist and Scott Mackay.

Following the parade will Santa and Mrs. Claus will illuminate all 300,000 downtown lights. The kids can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the main stage after the event.

The Main Street Promenade will host the official tree lighting ceremony.  Guests can sample free hot chocolate from local vendors. Also, Naperville native and American Idol singer, Gina Glocksen will perform holiday favorites.

All events should be finished by 7 pm.  Additional shopping and dining specials will be available until later in the evening and all weekend long.
