Today, Sunday, July 11 is free Slurpee day.
Participating 7-11 stores will be serving free 7.11 ounce Slurpees throughout the day. No purchase is necessary, but this offer is available while supplies last. Each free Slurpee will be served in a special birthday cup.
Free Slurpee day is 7-11's way of celebrating their anniversary. The first convenience chain will be giving away over 5 million Slurpees to celebrate it's 83rd birthday.
In addition to the free Slurpees, 7-11 will kick-off its Slurpee® Battle of the Bands (BOTB) contest. The first group contestants will open for Train at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. Check out www.facebook.com/Slurpee for the bands as well as a free concert from Train.
So when your kids are hot and tired today, send them over to 7-11 for a free Slurpee. They'll thank you for it.
