Kissimmee Florida is more than Mickey and Harry Potter

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Kissimmee Tourism. All opinions are 100% mine.

When we told friends that we're thinking of planning a trip to Kissimmee Florida they automatically said - so how many days are you spending at Disney and Universal Studios. While major theme parks are a wonderful part of Central Florida, there is so much more that Kissimmee has to offer. Whether your family likes nature, golf or cultural activities, Kissimmee has something to offer you.

My kids love animals, especially big, scary ones. One attraction on our list is Gatorland, which is the alligator capital of the world. It's a little boys dream to explore alligators, crocodiles and all types of reptiles for a day. And if the kids get too hot, they can cool off at the Gator Gully Splash Park inside Gatorland. This oldest family attraction in Florida has definitely made our must visit list.

While the kids have their top picks, I'm looking forward to some fun adventure activities, like Forever Florida. The new Zip-line SafariTM is a must for me, who likes a good adrenaline rush. The Zip-line SafariTM lets you soar above the Kissimmee wilderness for an unique view of all it has to offer.

Of course any vacation would not be complete if we didn't play a round of golf. My husband loves taking an afternoon to relax on the links. With so many top ranked courses to choose from, he can find a perfect fit for his casual golf game.

And, we would be remiss if we didn't spend a couple days exploring Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. Whether you remember these attractions as a youth or are experiencing them for the first time, the wonderment these theme parks won't be lost on anyone. For the young and old, there is a festival of sights and sounds to enjoy.

So if your family is thinking of a Florida vacation, why not think Kissimmee. Their website, Visit Kissimmee, offers tons of information to plan the perfect vacation for you. Take a moment to explore the heart of Florida and I doubt that you will be disappointed.
