It's here again. National Donut Day is this Friday.
On June 4, Dunkin Donuts will celebrate National Donut Day by offering FREE donuts.
With the purchase of any beverage, every guest will receive a free donut of their choice. Limit one offer per customer, while supplies last. Please check with local stores for hours.
In 1938, the Chicago Salvation Army held the first National Donut Day. It has been celebrated on the first Friday of June each year. The original reason for the celebration was to honor the women who served donuts to soldiers in World War I.
Also on June 4, Dunkin' Donuts will announce the winner of its second annual Create Dunkin's Next Donut contest. The winner donut will be sold at participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants nationwide.
So indulge a little on Friday, June 4. Head over to Dunkin Donuts for your free donut.
