Family fun Friday nights at the DuPage Children's Museum


Is your family looking for something fun to do on Friday nights? Visit the DuPage Children's Museum for family filled fun.

The DuPage Children's Museum stays open later on Friday nights so that school age children and working parents can enjoy all the museum has to offer. In addition to the exhibits throughout the museum, each Friday night will offer a themed event.Special performances on Friday nights will highlight various dramatic, dance and musical groups who partner with the museum.

Families can also bring dinner to the museum. The lower level offers an area where families can take a break from all the fun and have dinner. Although limited snacks are available, families can bring their own meals to enjoy.

Below is a schedule of upcoming Friday Night Events:

January 15, 2010 - Movie Night: Enjoy a selection of short films on the large projection screen (starts at 6 p.m.)

January 22, 2010 - Kidz Kaberet: Performances by the kid and teen theater group Kidz Kaberet (performances at 6 and 6:30 p.m.)

January 29, 2010 - Theater Central: See a performance of To Adventure! by the Naperville Central Theater Central Children's Theater. (starts at 6 p.m.)

After seeing the performances visit the new exhibit, It's a Play Thing. Examine all the kid-generated art work with costumes, make-up and more.
