Family friendly Halloween events

Halloween can be scary for little children. Luckily in and around Naperville, there are many events that make it fun for ghosts and goblins of all ages.

Halloween Spook-tacular

  • When: Friday, October 30 4:30 p.m. - 5:15 p.m.
  • Where: Riverwalk Amphitheater
  • About: The Nicholas Library will present Halloween stories, songs and puppet show for all ages. Children are welcome to come in costume. If there is inclement weather, the event will be held in the Community Room of the Nichols Library.

Downtown Naperville Trick or Treat

  • When: Sunday, October 25 12 p.m - 3 p.m.
  • Where: Downtown Naperville shops
  • About: Bring the kids to trick or treat in Downtown Naperville. Various downtown merchants will be passing out peanut free treats to all those princesses and superheros.

Comcast Halloween Happening from the Naperville Park District

  • When: Sunday, October 25 1 pm. - 4 pm
  • Where: Naperville's Riverwalk near Jackson and West Street
  • About: Join Diego for a family fun Halloween event. Children are welcome to wear their costumes. Children can roam a pirate ship in Adventure Alley, navigate King Arthur's Castle and play games in Halloween Way and Fairytale Lane. The event is recommended for families with children 10 years old or younger.
