Like many of us, we're entering the back to school phase. Some of us many have kids who started back today and others will start next week. Why not take a break from fixing dinner one night and have a dinner out.
In today's economy having dinner out may not be top on a family's to do list, especially after all the back to school shopping. Luckily IHOP is making it easier on families. From now until September 13, participating IHOP locations are offering free kids meals. IHOP is encouraging families to "break out of their routine without breaking the bank." There are some conditions regarding the meal. The offer is valid from 4 to 10 pm for kids 12 and under. The free item must come from the "Just for Kids" menu item and drinks are not included unless specified. An adult must purchase an entree, dine in only and no other coupons or offers are valid.
If your family is not big on IHOP other local restaurants offer family specials. Buffalo Wild Wings has kids' night specials on Tuesday and Sunday. Check out your local Buffalo Wild Wings for details.
Steak and Shake offers free kids meals on Saturday and Sunday. There are some restrictions, including one free kids meal per $8 spent.
Local restaurants often offer great family deals. Ask your favorite restaurant if they have any unadvertised special.s
