A few
weeks ago, I mentioned that I was beginning the Liquid Amino Diet. Even
though I workout regularly, my diet is in poor shape (honestly it
sucks). Yes, I try to eat fruit and vegetables every day but that
Halloween candy and that glass of wine call me around 8 at night. Empty
calories in equals tighter jeans.
In
hopes to put my diet on the right track, I was willing to try the
Liquid Amino Diet. As the wise man alluded, you get out what you put in.
Unfortunately, my "in" hasn't been enough. My workouts haven't wavered,
but my diet is in the crapper.
The
Liquid Amino Diet is low carb, which is difficult for me. I spend a lot
of time bringing my kids to and from swim meets, there isn't a lot of
high quality foods. It's pizza, bagels and other high carb offerings.
After 10 hours at a pool, I need food and I've got to have what
available. So my results, aren't stellar.
I
can see how this program would produce great results when followed
correctly. With the right balance of calories and protein, a person can
produce a large calorie burn. By adding exercise, people who follow the
program correctly can create large calorie burn.
Where
am I left with the program? I need to find some will power and a way
to plan. Right now, I'm not totally committed to following the program
the way it was intended. I need to plan my meals, snacks and activities.
With the right commitment, I can produce results. It's time to get with
the program.
Come with me and get on track to a better me with the Liquid Amino Diet.
