Ready for intergalactic battle with Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga - review

If you aren't familiar with Angry Birds, you might be living under a rock. Now the Red Bird and his pals have joined forces with Star Wars to battle the evil Jaba the Hut and RANCOR pigs. In Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga, fire the Luke Skywalker Bird at the structures to defeat the enemy.

This game can be played in a few way. If you are playing alone, set the the various structures and see how many launches it takes to bring down the pigs.

When playing with friends, one player will set up the structure while the other player or players try to knock it down. A player wins by knocking down the most pigs in the fewest launches. By rolling the dice, players determine the structure type and the number of tries.

This game is easy for kids to follow and play independently. I would suggest a level, flat surface for playing. While the pieces are sturdy, it is best to have good surface to make for easy play. The game is recommended for ages 8 and up. In our house, I allowed my younger son to play and he was able to do well. The biggest concern would be making sure that the Millennium Falcon launcher is just used for the game and the game piece.

There are a few version of the Star Wars Jenga game. This version can be combined with the Death Star version for a larger epic battle. This game retails for approximately $14.99 at most mass merchants and online.

If your have either a Star Wars or Angry Birds fan in your house, get a Angry Birds Star Wars Jenga game and put it under the tree this year.
