October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Numerous companies and organizations are showing their support for the women, families and care-givers that fight this disheartening disease. A group of companies are coming together in the Look Good Feel Better campaign to directly assist those women fighting breast cancer.
Look Good Feel Better workshops focus on the woman fighting her battle. Feeling and looking self-confident while the internal battle wages in her body can be a difficult task. These workshops help women focus on their self-confidence. Outward side-effects can be difficult to grasp. When a patient can see beyond these occurrences to the future, the outlook can be positive. The goal is to be a cancer survivor, not a patient.
OUR MISSION: Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to improving the self-esteem and quality of life of people undergoing treatment for cancer. It is our aim to improve their self-image and appearance through complimentary group, individual, and self-help beauty sessions that create a sense of support, confidence, courage, and community.
This October join with brands like Dior, Philosophy, Estée Lauder and Revlon to spread the word about the Look Good Feel Better campaign.
