Fight childhood hunger by liking Bruegger's Bagels

Right now restaurants across the nation are joining together to support Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign.

More than 16 million children in America live in households that struggle to put food on the table. Did you know that one in five children can't count on getting enough to eat each day? This alarming statistic has caused many restaurants to join together and raise funds to end childhood hunger. Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign raises awareness of this national program with the end goal to eliminate this problem by 2015.

Bruegger's Bagels will be raising funds in several ways. First, for every person who likes the Bruegger's Facebook page, the company will donate $1 to Dine Out for No Kid Hungry.

Also, to raise money in store, guests can purchase $3 coupon books. 100 percent of the proceeds from these coupon book sales will be donated to the cause. This $3 donation will provide a child with up to 30 nutritious meals. Plus, the Bruegger's coupons will give guests more than $20 in savings for free bagels, soups or sandwiches over the next few months.

The goal during this promotion is to raise $100,000 in 2012. With your help this goal can be achieved. So act now before the campaign ends on September 22.
