I'm sorry it's my day off, Children's Hospital Third Season on DVD

As a stay at home mom, there is no such thing as a day off. Sundays, holidays, birthdays, or leap day is a day where there is laundry to do, bruises to fix and food to be made. Unlike me, there are some jobs that have definite non-working days.

Have you watch the WB show Children's Hospital?  If you are a fan of this show, you know that these ever do dedicated doctors do not work on Saturdays. It doesn't matter the crisis, these medical professionals will not show up. Check out this clip.

Childrens Hospital: The Complete Third Season on... by thewbdotcom

I don't know to many people who could just demand that she wouldn't work on a specific day. Sure, some people try to take her birthday off or occasionally feign sickness. Still when you hear some people's excuses for blowing off a job or assignment, you know that they are fibbing. Of course, being a mom doesn't come with days off.

What crazy excuses have you heard for skipping work, business event or dinner with the folks? I'm sure that many of us have told a fib or two to get out of an obligation. Last year we pulled our kids out of school for a football game (our excuse on the note - Go Pack Go - at least we were honest). Still we got in trouble for the kids missing school. Still we had a fun family event that will last in our memories, which, in my opinion, was just as important as a day in school.

So next time you are thinking of taking a mental health day, what will you use as your excuse? Share your thoughts and maybe we can borrow a few of the believable ones.

Children's Hospital, the Complete Third season is now available on DVD. Maybe these imaginative doctors can help you with your next work excuse.

Disclosure: I have been hired by Warner Bros WBWord division to raise awareness for 'Childrens Hospital.'
