I dared to compare, Batiste Dry Shampoo makes the grade - review

I have one item that is a must have for a busy mom. It is dry shampoo. If you aren't familiar with dry shampoo, it is a way for your hair to look fresh without washing and drying your hair. Simply spray the dry shampoo in your hair, brush, style and go. Fast and easy. In less than 10 minutes I can be ready to head out for the day.

The only down side that I have found is that some dry shampoos leave my slightly white-ish. I don't want to have grey hair (I pay a lot of money for my highlights). The key to finding a good dry shampoo is that it makes my hair look fresh without looking grey or weighed down.

If you are a busy mom, you know that your time is a huge commodity. Being able to save 15-20 minutes by not washing your hair in the shower can be huge. With a dry shampoo, your hair looks as if you took the time and effort to wash and style your hair (only you will know the truth).

Recently I had the opportunity to try Batiste Dry Shampoo. This dry shampoo is different because the main ingredient is rice starch. Rice starch is lighter than cornstarch, which means that you don't have a heavy residue.

While using this dry shampoo, I found that my hair looked refreshed yet not heavy. I was pleased with the results because I was able to style my hair without it feeling full of product. Also, my hair didn't have a white appearance like other dry shampoos. For me, I will keep a bottle of the Batiste in the house for the hectic days ahead.

Batiste regular size retails for about $7.99 for a full size bottle or $3.99 for for a travel size bottle. For more information on these products please visit their Facebook page at : https://www.facebook.com/AlphaHydrox and on Twitter @alphahydrox .

In my opinion, Batiste Dry Shampoo is definitely the one minute miracle.

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
