Bristol Renaissance Faire welcomes dragons from Dreamworks How To Train Your Dragon Spectacular

What is the Bristol Renaissance Faire?  It's acres of Elizabethan fun.  From brave knights to beautiful maidens, this family event transports your family back to 1599. With food, fun and frolic, your family may not want to return to the modern world.

This weekend the Bristol Renaissance Faire will feature a baby dragon. Not just any dragon, but one of the dragons from the Dreamworks How To Train Your Dragon Spectacular.

On Saturday, July 14 Baby Nadderdragon and his Viking Trainer will visit the knights and damsels at the Faire. This baby dragon is one of 24 dragons that perform in the How to Train Your Dragon Live Spectacular. Chicago will be able to experience this theatrical production July 26-July 29.

DREAMWORKS HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON LIVE SPECTACULAR will appear at the United Center Thursday, July 26 at 7:00 PM; Friday, July 27 at 7:00 PM; Saturday, July 28 at 11:00 AM, 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM; and Sunday, July 29 at 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM with free parking at official United Center parking lots for all performances.

In addition to the visit of a baby dragon, Bristol Renaissance Faire offers lots of activities for the whole family. From jousting knights to talented artisans, this summer event offers a full day's worth of activities for the whole family. Parents and kids can go on a quest or watch various performances throughout the large grounds.

The Bristol Renaissance Faire is located just west of I-94’s Russell Road exit, near Kenosha, Wisconsin. The event will be open rain or shine from 10 am till 7 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The season runs July 7 through September 2 and Labor Day, Monday September 3. Adult tickets are $19.95; children’s tickets are $9.95; and children under 5 are free.
