The idea of shopping for the holidays can put fear in my mind. It's not that I don't like to shop. I love the idea of finding the perfect dress or a to-die-for shoe.
My problem with holiday shopping is the crowding of too many people crazed to find the must have gift. Some shoppers grab everything they see while others wander aimlessly throughout the store in a daze. A shopping trip that should normally take 30 minutes will take 2 hours. I leave frustrated and more stressed.
Did you see the episode of Chuck where everyone was in a Christmas shopping panic because of a computer virus? It caused chaos in the Buy More store. Do you think that it's realistic?
In my opinion, I think that the insane behavior of all the customers is completely plausible. Think about it. Ever watch the news on Black Friday. There are some shoppers that run people over to get one of the 5 sale televisions, computers or hot sale item. For some reason people lose their self control when it comes to holiday shopping. At least with Chuck, we all can laugh at the silliness because it's a television show and not real life.
