Teach kids about business through Lemonade Day Campaign

We all remember having a lemonade stand growing up. Whether we made a dime or a dollar, the afternoon in the sun was a day to remember. The lemonade stand is a great way to introduce kids to entrepreneurship and creating a business.

This year Chicago and the surrounding areas are having a Lemonade Day. The purpose of this day to introduce kids to business and entrepreneurship. This day is the brain child of Michael Holthouse, who is the founder of Prepared 4 Life. Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experimental learning program for children of all ages.

To kick off the first Lemonade Day, the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, the City of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools and funding partners will join together to announce the first Lemonade Day campaign on April 10, 2012.  Come to the event at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Offices (200 East Randolph Street, Suite 2200) on April 10 at 10:30 am.
