We all know how important it is to recycle. Throwing away cans, bottles and boxes into the trash is a waste and bad for the environment. But having an extra trash can in your kitchen can be cumbersome. What is the alternative though? You can't leave stuff piled all over the countertops. No one wants clutter.
Rubbermaid has a great solution to your recycling issue, the Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler. This product conveniently keeps your recycling off the counter and hidden out of sight.
This device works great under the sink. With either cabinet door hooks or screws, the product is quick to install. It took me about 1 minute to put together and place on the door. The bag itself is soft sided which allows for flexibility inside the cabinet. I was able to keep some cleaning products under the sink too.
Plus, the bag holds lots of recyclables. One 5 gallon bag holds up to 36 - 12 ounce cans and can fit a milk jug too. And, if someone left a little liquid in a can, don't worry. The bag has a leak proof liner and is machine washable.
It's easy for the kids to put cans and water bottles away after they been used. You can empty the whole container into your outdoor recyclable bin. There is a convenient handle that allows for easy transportation too.
No more excuses for cans and milk bottles ending up in the trash can. Recycling couldn't be easier!
The Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler can be purchased at Meijer or online at Rubbermaid.com. It retails for $15.99.
Rubbermaid has graciously given me a Hidden Recycler to giveaway to one of my readers. Plus use the Rafflecopter form to enter.
