During all the holiday shopping and festivities, it is important to remember those who are struggling. This Sunday, December 4, the Rink Side Ice Arena and Radio Disney AM 1300 are hosting the Festival of Giving.
From 1 till 3 pm, several local charities will be on hand to collect donations. Charitable organizations include PAWS Chicago, Northern Illinois Food Bank and Toy Box Connection. These charities will accept donations of pet goods, toys, blankets, towels, non-perishable food, new or gently used books and toys.
Radio Disney 1300 AM is joining 31 other Radio Disney stations across the country to encourage charitable donations this holiday season. By providing a convenient way to donate this holiday season, Radio Disney hopes to increase the donations to local charities.
The Rink Side Ice Arena and Radio Disney AM 1300 event will be held at Showcourt area of Gurnee Mills. Please use Entrance G.
