Sometimes my kids are so talkative. Other times it is pulling teeth to tell me anything about their day. I want to know about their friends, likes and thoughts, but I have to come up with a creative way to entice the information from them. That's where Relish The Moment is perfect.
Relish The Moment is a fun family game that gets everyone talking. You can play this game a variety of ways. The game has a variety of cards that require an answer, complete an action or play a game. For example, action cards include Chinese Fire Drill, Rock Paper Scissors or charades.
For our family, I like the question cards. Some example of the question cards are what is your favorite movie or do you like being inside or outside . I've taken these question cards and put them on the dinner table. Towards the end of dinner, I'll pull one or two questions. It's a great way to get the kids into a discussion. Now we don't have the dead silence at the dinner table.
The discussion cards would be great on a car trip or family gathering. Personally, I really don't like it when the kids veg out in front of the DS or television. Relish the Moment is a fun way to see how everyone thinks and gets people interacting.
