Dollar General thanks those who serve our country this Veterans Day

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of DollarGeneral for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

For any person who has made the sacrifice to serve our country in the military, the least we can do this Veterans Day is say thank you. Many stores, restaurants and other businesses are saying thank you to veterans and their families this week and weekend. One store that is giving back to military families is Dollar General.

On November 11, Dollar General will offer 10% off to all veterans, active military and their families. No coupon is needed to receive this discount. This event is called the Dollar General's Veteran's Day discount .

But the savings for the military extends beyond November 11. From November 11 through November 13, anyone who uses the code VETERANSDAY at checkout will receive 10% off their order.

Did you know that you can send care packages to military currently serving?  For either a $20 or $30 care package purchase a deserving serviceman or service-woman will receive items that they need. From toothbrushes to eye drops, little items can make a difference to these hard working troops. Any care packages for the troops receive free shipping.

One easy item to do for all the hard working military this Veterans Day is to share a word or two of support for all their hard work. Visit the Facebook page and upload a video or message of encouragement to the military around the globe.  These small acts of kindness can make a difference in another person's day.

So this Veteran's Day, take a moment to say thank you.
