Moscato, Merlot and more, we are head over heels for Flip Flop Wines

I like a good glass of wine. My friends like a good glass of wine too. When we all get together, the bottles are uncorked and the wine is flowing.

But when we get together, some of us want to try a new label or blend. So when Flip Flop Wines allowed me to do a group product review, I was so excited.

I decided to invite some friends, family and neighbors over to share a glass of wine and have a little fun. We had a variety of Flip Flop wines to try.

I started with the Moscato. Usually, I'm not a sweet wine drinker. But I was pleasantly surprised with the Moscato. Rated as Platinum, Best of Varietal, Best of Class 2011 New World International Wine Competition, I found the Moscato refreshing. I think that it would be a great pairing with some fruit or Brie or just sitting enjoying a nice afternoon in the sun. Flip Flop recommends a pairing with some spicy pad thai or vegetable curry. I could see that too because the sweetness would offset the spiciness of the food. I think that this is a must try.

Some of my friends went directly to the Chardonnay. Chardonnay is a popular wine choice for my friends. One idea that I had was to not tell everyone what brand they were drinking. See I have one friend who swears that she will only drink one particular wine, no exceptions. So I poured some of the Flip Flop Chardonnay into a glass for her without telling her about the switch. Although she realized the switch but said that liked this new wine better. I was excited and her husband was too because he would save $10 a bottle by buying Flip Flop.

Flip Flop Wines have several varieties. These include Pinot Girgio, Moscato, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Each variety retails for $7 a bottle at liquor stores and other retailers.

Also, Flip Flop wine is a supporter of Soles4Souls. For every bottle of Flip Flop wine purchased, Soles4Souls will distribute a pair of shoes to someone in need (Up to 100,000 pairs in the first year) Please consider donating a pair of new or gently used shoes to a Soles4Souls donation center.

So next time that you are looking to try a new brand of wine, why not try a selection from Flip Flop Wine. You just might flip for it like we did.
